Ceragem is a class II 510K medical device approved by FDA for stress relief and blood circulation. Based on the beliefs of oriental medicine that our body is best treated wholly with balance, the Ceragem uses acupuncture, chiropractic stretching, massage methods and employs far infrared ray (FIR) to heal our body.
1. Acupuncture
The acupuncture is based on the theory that there are 365 points in our body, all of which are related to certain body parts and organs. The most concentrated area of acupuncture points is the spine where there are 96 of them. While an acupuncture doctor feels your body to find acupuncture points and puts a tiny needle to activate certain parts, a Ceragem uses computer chips to read your spine. Based on the length and curvature of your spine, it will calculate your acupuncture points. Everybody receives a customized treatment as nobody is like each other. There are 10 different modes for a full spine massage. Based on the mode you choose from, Ceragem balls will move and stop at each acupuncture point as programmed and shoot far infrared ray (FIR) to the points for 1½ minutes.
2. Far infrared ray
Far infrared ray (FIR) has another nickname and that is “light of life” because it is produced when stones and the earth are heated up. Ceragem harnesses that power and can use it to fight inflammation. FIR is widely used in alternative treatments. Ceragem uses jade to produce FIR. FIR goes deep down into our body as much as five inches. Inside, it vibrates in our cells and then turns on millions of mitochondria, the “power house”, which works to raise your core body temperature. A research shows that our immune system is boosted by five times when our core body temperature goes up by 1 degree Celsius (around 2 degrees Farenheit). FIR expands the blood vessels and speeds up your blood circulation 1½ times faster. Fast blood circulation helps to reduce pain levels.
3. Chiropractic stretching
There is a reason why you lie on the Ceragem without any pillow. When you lie flat, the Ceragem will push up your back and stretches your spine just as a chiropractor does.
There are six different intensity levels you can choose depending on your flexibility.
Incorporated with far infrared ray, the stretching is done more effectively. A continuous use of the Ceragem will help you regain your lost height by one inch.
4. Massage
A heated jade ball moves along your spine and pushes itself, which has the same effect as a hand massage since you push it down with your whole body weight. The massage method will relax your muscle.
